The CCR Wine Tasting for this season will end on a high note with a special visit to the estate of Sassotondo, owned by Carla Benini & Edoardo Ventimiglia located in Sovana (Grosseto). We’ll start with a tour of their ancient cellar followed by a wine tasting led by master sommelier Daniele Maestri (in French and Italian) and then we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch of local specialties. There is an excellent selection of wines including the award-winning ‘San Lorenzo Cliliegiolo’ (awards from Duemilavini and Gambero Rosso).

In the afternoon you may want to tour Pitigliano, go to the thermal bathes at Saturnia or have a siesta on the grass! We can make suggestions if you would like to stay in the area for the weekend.
