Our next CCR walk will delve into a little-known neighborhood which does not figure in any of Rome's guidebooks but nevertheless has become the subject of interest among its inhabitants, particularly Rome's graffiti artists. Join us as we explore its quirky "barocchetto" architecture (a type of architecture introduced to Rome in the 1920s which borrowed elements from the 1500s to the 1700s as well as the concept of garden cities) and investigate Italy's 20th century history and its contradictions, by looking at "two-faced Tufello."
