As the CCR Season begins we are all looking forward to the numerous activities for 2010-2011. One of the perennially popular activities has been the historical walks with Olivia Ercoli. This fall Olivia has numerous professional and family commitments and has decided to take a hiatus from her walk schedule with the CCR. However she will be back as soon as her calendar clears up.
In the meantime we might suggest two options that offer opportunities to discover the wonders of our adopted city. Many CCR members are familiar with well-known art historian and long-time Rome resident Nancy di Conciliis who has an intriguing Fall schedule of Monday and Tuesday daytime walks in English. Nancy's colourful commentary and wealth of knowledge make any walk through Rome a treat.

For French speaking members - or even those with just the basics - INVENTER ROME offers a varied series of events. This group of professors and academics, all specialist in their field, give wonderful talks and walks on various historical subjects in and around Rome. Some of you have been on their tours and they are truly recommended to the history aficionado. Full details may be found here.
Please note that these walks are not sponsored by the CCR nor are we responsible for their content. The links and information are provide as a service to our members only and all communications should be directly with Nancy or INVENTER ROME.
