Those arriving early can take a look around and watch the video detailing some of the techniques used in creating the images. Sheila's book is also available for purchase at the museum and she would be happy to sign your copy.
Sheila McKinnon (www.sheilamckinnon.com) was born in Canada and has spent most of her life in Italy. She has worked as a photographer and journalist in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Near East for various European and North American publications such as The New York Times, Newsweek, The International Herald Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, Die Welt, Beaux Arts Magazine, Saveur Magazine, the Toronto Globe & Mail, Elle Spain, Elle Hungary and most of the major Italian publications.
She has worked in collaboration with various humanitarian organizations and UN agencies such as UNICEF, FAO, UNFPA, IDLO, La Comunità di Sant’Egidio, Africare, Aidos and others.
