CCR Walks: Slavery in Ancient Roman Times - May 20, 2018

Termini Station offers a good starting place to discuss a theme which underpinned much of the ancient world’s economy: slavery. During the course of the walk we will also look at whether the modern world could learn anything from the past as it struggles to deal with human trafficking, exploitation, xenophobia, and unemployment.

When: Sunday, May 20, 2018
Time: 10 a.m.
Where: Near Termini train station; exact location will be sent to confirmed participants by email.
Cost: €10 for members and €15 for non-members. There will also be a museum entrance fee of €10 to visit the Baths of Diocletian.
