Wine Social - March 3, 2023

We're having a social at a great wine bar and wine cellar in Rome! The Enoteca Peluso in the Ludovisi neighbourhood periodically holds excellent events featuring selected wines paired with light apéritif and dinner items, and we've booked a table to take advantage of this opportunity. Join us for an informal but informative evening as we socialize over great food and wine. 

This event will focus on three red wines from the Poggio Landi winery of Tuscany, including the renowned Brunello di Montalcino. A sommelier will be serving and although there won't be a formal presentation, they will be happy to answer all our questions.

French Wines & Pairings - November 30, 2022

We're going to have a wonderful opportunity to explore French wines paired with French food specialties at a boutique featuring the delicacies of l'Hexagone!

This tasting event will be held in French and Italian, guided by an expert from the boutique who will help participants explore the origins and flavours of each selection. First off, a Pouilly Fumé 2020, cuvée “Arrêt Buffate,” a fresh and mineral sauvignon from the Tine Blondelet winery, will be paired with a plate of mild goat cheeses. Next, a young yet strong and complex Gigondas 2011, cuvée “Grand Romane” by Domaine Pierre Amadieu, aged 10 years to develop its aromas reminiscent of woodlands and spices. It will be matched with a selection of aged cheeses. Finally, an incredible blend of six indigenous grape varieties will be encountered in the Margaux 2016 cuvée “Quintessence” by Chateau des Graviers. Its broad range of complex aromas and long persistence will be savoured with some pâtés.
