Gin-tasting Aperitivo at Hotel Adriano - March 20, 2014

Let's celebrate the arrival of spring with a new spirited adventure! On March 20th we're heading to Hotel Adriano's exciting new "Gin Corner" to explore the world of classic gin and botanicals.

Those who attended the CCR Christmas party know Hotel Adriano, though you may not realize its bar has a selection of over 80 gins, for warm weather tasting! The bar staff have vast knowledge and expertise when it comes to this spirit, which has recently come back in style with a vengeance. Other drinks are also available, of course.

Time: 7:00 pm

Cost: Cost for first drink and generous nibbles for Members is €10 (€13 for super premium gin); for Non-menbers €12 (€15 for super premium gin); second drink will also be subsidized by the club for members.

CCR Holiday Party - December 9, 2013

This year the lovely Hotel Adriano will welcome Canadian Club of Rome members and friends for our yearly holiday season party. Join us for a delicious buffet dinner and drinks. This is the perfect opportunity to reminisce with fellow members about the year coming to an end and share plans for the new year. Space will be limited, so early reservations are recommended.

The recently appointed Canadian Ambassador, H.E. Peter McGovern, and his wife, Sharon McGovern, will be joining us this year. 

Festive buffet menu:

Parmigano reggiano
Mini salmon quiches, quattro formaggi quiches
Cream of tuna appetizers
Prosciutto appetizers
Mixed deep fried veggies, supplì, olive ascolane
Eggplant Parmesan
Potato gateau
Chestnut-stuffed oven roasted turkey
Mixed green salad
Holiday sweets
Wine, water, and prosecco will accompany us throughout the evening!
