Canada-Italy Thanksgiving Lunch - October 7, 2018

Our traditional Thanksgiving lunch is on Sunday, the 7th of October this year. It's your opportunity to relax with family and friends in a warm, welcoming environment. As usual, we'll be having both delicious Italian dishes and classic Thanksgiving food!

CCR Thanksgiving Lunch - October 8, 2017

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada but here in Rome the CCR is going to host our traditional lunch on Sunday the 8th of October, giving everyone in our expat community a relaxing opportunity over the weekend to relax with family and friends in a warm, welcoming environment. The CCR invites you to our traditional lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving Day! In Canada it falls on the second Monday of October but here in Rome we'll get together for a great Sunday lunch.

Take this opportunity to celebrate with families and friends both old and new, at an informal gathering at an old Roman inn on the Via Flaminia. They will be preparing roast turkey especially for the Canadian Club of Rome.

Canadian Thanksgiving Lunch - October 13, 2013

Initially brought to Canada as a European-style harvest festival between the 17th and 18th centuries, the exact date of this celebration varied from one year to the next until the twentieth century, when the second Monday in October was eventually chosen as Thanksgiving Day in Canada.
